Pedagogy of the Plants 
What a neat repurposing. And it strikes me as kind of poetic that the helmet used to be home for a ghost plant.
Visiting military surplus stores like the one in Normaltown is always a harrowing experience when you consider the origin of mottled helmets, and bins filled with thousands of patches that once brought a bit of pride to some soldier.
You know, I’ve never been into the military surplus store. I’m not sure I would handle it well, but then again, maybe that would be a good kind of disequilibrium for me to experience…
